1,3-phenylenediamineis is mainly used as a high-performance epoxy resin curing agent, which gives the resin excellent properties such as heat resistance, non-toxicity, underwater construction and rapid curing by heating. It is also a key raw material for synthesizing polyurethane resin and functional epoxy resin. In addition, as an important fine chemical intermediate, MXDA is widely used in rubber additives, photosensitive plastics, coatings, nylon products, pesticides, fiber finishing agents, rust inhibitors, chelating agents, lubricants and paper processing. Its unique structure gives it low viscosity, good operating performance, and can form a transparent and finished cured surface. Its cyclohydride is also an important precursor for synthesizing diisocyanates.
