+8617638138100Proteinase K(CAS 39450-01-6)is a powerful proteinase isolated from Candida albicans. It has a high specific activity and is a key reagent for DNA extraction. The enzyme is active in a wide pH range (4.0-12.5) and high temperature (50-70°C) and is used for the separation of plasmid or genomic DNA and RNA. It has the advantages of high specific activity, high yield and wider temperature/pH activity range. Proteinase K is indispensable in molecular biology, diagnostics, and protein research due to its broad substrate specificity, stability under denaturing conditions, and detergent tolerance.
Kit application: widely used in commercial genomic DNA extraction kits, RNA kits
Used in skin care, removal of aged stratum corneum cells and tanning, preparation of hydrolyzed protein seasonings, cosmetics and feed processing and other daily industrial fields.
Extraction of non-protein biological preparations such as nucleic acids and polysaccharide drugs in the biopharmaceutical industry

The dry powder state can be stored at low temperature under the condition of 0~4℃. After dissolving, dispense into appropriate volume and store at -15℃-25℃. Transport can be carried out at room temperature.
Under the correct storage conditions, the dry powder state is valid for up to two years. The validity period of the liquid state at -15~25℃ is one year. After opening the package, please use it in time to prevent moisture absorption. After the solid enzyme is dissolved, it is recommended to filter and sterilize, divide it into an appropriate volume, and store at -15~25℃.
