+8617638138100Trioctyl trimellitate is a high-performance, high-temperature resistant, environmentally friendly plasticizer. It is a transparent oily liquid with low volatility and excellent thermal stability and migration resistance. It is mainly used as a plasticizer for plastics, especially for occasions that require heat resistance and durability. Trioctyl trimellitate has the advantages of both monomeric and polymeric plasticizers. It is similar to phthalate plasticizers in plasticizing efficiency and processing performance, but is more excellent in volatility, water extraction resistance, migration resistance, low temperature resistance and electrical properties. Its durability is comparable to that of polymeric plasticizers.
Trioctyl trimellitate can be used as heat-resistant wire and cable material. It shows good durability and electrical properties in heat-resistant wire and cable materials, especially suitable for 105℃ grade heat-resistant wire and cable.
In addition, it is also widely used in finished plates, sheets and sealing gaskets that require heat resistance and durability. In addition to polyvinyl chloride (PVC), TOTM is also suitable for a variety of plastics such as vinyl chloride copolymers, cellulose nitrate, cellulose ethyl butyrate, polymethyl methacrylate, etc.
In short, trioctyl trimellitate, as a high-performance plasticizer, has a wide range of applications in meeting the requirements of heat resistance, durability and electrical properties of different plastic products.
